Marketing is all about testing, tweaking, updating and staying ahead of trends. Can you imagine how hard it was back in the pre-internet days? Let me tell you there was an incredible amount of man hours that went into tracking the conversion of a marketing campaign.

These days of course we get it so much easier. The internet is simply the most powerful marketing tool on the planet, and web analytics is an absolute gift to the offline business or personal website owner and of course to the online marketer, is the most essential and powerful tool at our fingertips.

The great part is that most basic web analytics are free to use, easy to install, and offer a tremendous amount of vital information. Personally I had been using google analytics but found the maps and graphs quite cumbersome to analyse.

Then Clicky came on my path.

This wonderous little tool is in my opinion the easiest and most streamlined web analytics available. Offering both a free service and Pro upgrades, Clicky gets my thumbs up simply because of the ease that Feedburner integrates and of course primarily because of the beautiful clear tracking options.

The forces to be have decided that it’s time for a correction, we’ve had a boom in real estate, a steady climb in the stock market, the US dollar went on a roller coaster ride this year…. so it’s time to ‘correct’ the market.

This is not anything new. If you take the time to study history you will see a similar pattern.

The crazy thing is that most people are being dictated to by these corrections. When is a good time for you to stand up and say - Hey I am in control of me and my finances?
